Inauguration of a new tuna pier in Manta

ZUNIBAL participated, of course, in the inauguration of the new tuna pier in Manta-Jaramijó, which is expected to be a great contribution to the fishing sector. The president of Zunibal, Amaia Ormaechea, had the honor of inaugurating it on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in an emotional ceremony and full of hope for the city of Manta.

The new Punta Azul pier in Manta will have all the necessary services to meet the needs of the tuna fleet of Ecuador, one of the largest in the world and a benchmark in the sector. ZUNIBAL will be among the service providers that will have a space on the dock to meet the needs of customers thanks to our latest technology in buoys.

The inauguration was attended by the most important authorities and personalities of the country, with the outstanding presence of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Ms. Katuska Drouet, who praised this new construction for the development of Manta.
