The Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu attended the World Maritime Week

This week we have had the pleasure of meeting the Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, who inaugurated the World Maritime Week on March 27. This event, which includes th Marine Energy Week, Sinaval, Eurofishing and FuturePort, takes place between 27th and 31st March at the BEC. Its purpose is to bring together the naval, fishing, energy-marine and port sectors into one. That’s how WMW was born.

 

 

During the inauguration, Urkullu emphasized the importance of this new initiative, which integrates four of the most strategic sectors in a single event. «We are putting them together in order to gain international repercussions for all of them. The goal is to achieve greater outward projection; In Euskadi, we have the complete value chain to lead projects in the maritime sector: industrial, technological and component manufacturing capacity.»
